Hotel Profile:

WelcomHeritage Bassi Fort is a testament to the glorious history of the Chundawat clan. It was built in the 16th century by Thakur Jaimal of the Sisodia dynasty, cousin of Maharana Pratap, founder of the Bassi principality. Six of the ancestors of Rawat Sahib Kesri Singh Ji, the present head of the Chundawat family laid down their lives defending Mewar and the famous Chittogarh fort.

The 16th century home of the Mewar nobility has been painstakingly restored, preserving its old world charm, decor and grandeur while enhancing the elements of comfort with modern amenities.

The 16th century WelcomHeritage Bassi Fort, 25 km from Chittorgarh is set amidst the hills of the Vindhyachal ranges. The ornate gates, domes, arches and corridors of the Palace re-call the grandeur of another era when valour, honor as well as ostentation were understood precepts of royalty.

The fort has been painstakingly restored, maintaining the integrity of the original structure while subtly introducing the trappings of modern comfort. 5 km from the fort is the Bassi Wildlife Sanctuary with its gentle slopes and large water bodies where panthers, wild boars, antelopes and mongooses can be sighted
